New release of KYPO CRP makes training preparation easier
- A brand-new release, 22.12 of the KYPO Cyber Range Platform, brings 54 changes – bug fixes, security, and feature enhancements.
- The platform enables instructors to prepare and analyze training sessions with less effort.
- Check out the full changelog on GitLab.
- Automatic check if logging works for training events and commands.
- Improved sandbox management and support for sandboxes at trainees’ hosts.
- Export of the score of all trainees from a training instance.
- The instructor can now see a command timeline for each trainee in ongoing training.
- Progress visualization is refactored and provides a zoomable timeline.
- The statistical dashboard now contains clustering and overview visualization.
3 things to know about KYPO CRP
- KYPO CRP has been developed by Masaryk University since 2013. The platform represents several years of experience using cyber ranges in education, cyber defense exercises, and training.
- The CONCORDIA project released KYPO CRP as open-source in 2020. This activity aims to help solve the high amount of missing cybersecurity experts by providing a platform for training, development, and execution.
